Design-Build,
Forever

Before a spine injury shook my world up, I was a woodworker & artist. I've built everything from the set of Color Purple to see-through boats. My favorite project is a tie between hand-placing every single piece of "bark" on this opera set, and painting a client's entire staircase in an homage to Richard Diebenkorn.

Child of the Lowcountry

I'm from a little island off the southernmost tip of South Carolina. I grew up covered in pluff mud, throwin' a cast net from the rocking bow of a jon boat til the coolers were full. Whenever I'm stressed, I just find the nearest body of water get my feet wet for a while. Works like a charm.

Gettin' Loose

While I'm drawn to tedium in my work work, I love making objects based on pure, hand-to-form intuition by throwing clay on a pottery wheel. I got myself some standing legs for ol' Lucinda, my trusty Brent CXC, named after the legendary Lucinda Williams, so I can be decent to my body and still make pots. Clay is so forgiving and infinitely recyclable. It goes wrong a lot, but I kinda like that about it.

Food is Good

Nothing makes me happier than fixing a meal for my little family. Being raised by Greeks and southerners means food is my primary love language. I'm a little bit obsessed with making the perfect chicken wing and think tomato sandwiches in the summertime are a top-10 possible human experience.

Oh hey there!

If you need a thoughtful hand with a new build or refresh of an old site, or you have a killer chicken wing recipe, drop me a line below.
